My guess is during the subwoofer install, you had the battery hooked up still, right? So an open door or radio on would have drained it. Did you check the condition of the battery? Voltage? Age?

Yes got the battery checked and my battery is good battery read around 12 volts

I tried getting a jump and it still didn't work

it should be at least 12 - 12.5 , draining a batt. can be the end for an old one , if it has caps see if the electrolite is covering the cells

I might have to get a new battery and see if this works the battery might be old

The battery is good so I'm guessing it's the alternator

for newer cars a memory holder may be needed when disconnecting the batt. a bad alt. will generally light a dash icon up
