Google how to check codes on your specific vehicle or as close to it...don't need a scanner it displays code on dash....google meaning of code and you have partial answer...mine was small emission leak majority of times a loose gas cap...turn til it clicks and keep turning slowly til you feel it tighten...its done....if you keep turning til it clicks again its loose again.
