Hyundai Santa Fe 2008 random starting problems

Asked by Midwife Sep 06, 2015 at 02:58 PM about the 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe 3.3L Limited FWD

Dealership has not been able to fix this problem.  When the car wouldn't start
I would use the remote start which would not work the first time but would
start the car by the second try.  Now the remote doesn't work to start the car.
Help!  What is going on?

If the dealership can't fix it, time to find a good independent garage-

It could be a weak/bad battery, a bad wiring connection or possibly the remote needs to be cleaned inside under the rubber button pads.
