Undo battery , take bolts out of starter probably 2 , take starter out and connect power and ground to new starter make sure the leads are cleaned for better connection , out new starter in and tighten each bolt equally check manual for torq specs . Make sure it is all the way in so the gears will catch. A lot of times it helps to take off the wheel of the side the starters on . Make sure car has cooled down as well considering the starter is probably right beside the manifolds or headers
