My car overheated on the road,  towed it home,
now it won't start. Head lights will come on, and it
sounds like the ignition key is on the ignition

How long did the car overheat before you shut it down. Reason I ask because if it ran a long time the head could warp and cause the car not to start. You need to have the leak fixed and a compression test done..Good Luck
