That's hard to answer. It depends the maintenance history on the vehicle and mileage on it and driving habits of previous owners

My advice would be forget about it. Saturn's were a disaster and are no longer being made. GM stopped all production of everything Saturn in October of 2009. You can actually read some of the issues Saturn car owners have on this site Don't believe a word from the salesman, they just want to off it. Good luck

A Saturn starts falling apart when it rolls off the assembly line, but there is NO MORE assembly line for Saturn. That should tell you everything you need to know. In other words: DON'T BUY IT!!! If you do, I promise you, you WILL regret it.

They are no more worse than any of their counterparts. Some drivers have reported 150,000 or more miles of trouble free driving. Normal wear items such as brakes, spark plugs aside, some things need to be looked into. Such as has the oil been regularly changed? Because this will tend to plug the oil screens on the cam shaft sensor solenoids. Have the spark plugs been changed at the proper interval? If not, it may destroy the ignition coil pack. Wheel bearings and stabilizer bars links sometimes wear prematurely. I do not understand "jimokee" and "the_Emboy", about Saturn being a "disaster" and "don't buy it". GM went bankrupt and that forced them to pare down some of their car divisions. Are you calling Pontiac, Saab and Hummer vehicles bad too? As for Saturns falling apart as soon as they roll off the assembly line, (he makes sure he put some words in capitals), that is shear stupidity. You need to grow up and get wise, boys.

Ok guru your right but with her Astra it might be a good idea to look around a little bit more. The Astra's alright and kinda unique. Being an import that did not sell looking down the road at repairs is something to consider.Quick repairs may take longer and cost will be higher. If you're not worried about that then go for it. What year is your Saturn guru?
