How difficult to repair warnng bell.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The key ignition warning when you open the door, also the no seatbelt warning are all the same bell.  It works but you can hardly hear it.  At first sometimes it would be loud but the next time very dim.  Now always dim.  What is up?

The chime sound comes from the left front (driver's) door speaker. Sounds like the speaker is bad. To confirm this, adjust the balance on the radio to full left and the fade to full front. If you can barely hear the radio or can't hear it at all the speaker is definitely bad. HTH. -Jim
