Car noise

Asked by Kaseylynne Apr 21, 2016 at 07:47 PM about the 2008 Chevrolet Malibu LS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 08 Chevy Malibu Ls 3.5L 6 cyl. A couple
weeks ago I had thermostat replaced everything
was good then a couple days ago it started leaking
antifreeze in the front left side near radiator..and
now today it started to make a roaring noise like it
was the muffler but the noise is coming from the
front of the car. Can some one tell me what this
could be? Should I buy a new radiator? Or is that
not the problem..

SOUNDS LIKE YOU NEED A WATER PUMP.THAT LOUD ROARING SOUND COULD BE THE BEARING OR BUSHING IN THE WATER PUMP.YOU ALREADY REPLACED THE THERMOSTAT ,AND DON'T FORGET NEW ANTIFREEZE AND RADIATOR CAP.ALSO MAKE SURE YOU PRESSURE TEST RADIATOR TOO!

My 2010 Chevy Malibu is having a problem. When I start the car it's loud like the intake manafold need to be replaced. When I'm driving it still makes the same noise. What u think is wrong if not the intake
