Do not flush the transmission!! Especially on an older model!! The dirt in the transmission fluid actually helps worn parts inside the transmission continue to keep working! This is because the dirt gives the worn parts something to grab onto. With everything squeaky clean inside the transmission tolerances of the worn parts are almost definitely out of spec and will no longer work. You can expect anything from slipping, to not moving at all! A transmission flush is asking for trouble!! Don't do it!! Hope that helps! Jim

Do NOT flush it! It would never function properly again!
