Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2008 Audi A6. Drove 3 miles & AC began blowing warm air, then cool then
only warm.  3 beepsmthen warning light came on saying turn engine off &
check coolant. Car was towed to mechanic where it’s been blowing cold air
since. Mechanic said he wants to drain & clean radiator & put dye in coolant
to see if there’s any tiny cracks but couldn’t find anything else. I’m afraid it will
jhappen again on highway.  Please help,if anyone knows what’s it might really
be. Thanks!
