Check Engine light & power reduce when I hit a bump

When I hit a bump on road/highway my car
goes limp check engine light comes on and
engine power reduce. I turn it off for a few
mins and I can start driving again untill I hit
another  bump

Sounds like a connector or wire is loose. Hard to say which one. Check the battery cables first to see if they are loose.
