Car wont start and Key stuck in ignition

i drove my car and let it run a little bit last
night. this morning i went to start it and as
soon as i turned it, it didnt start or turn over
or anything. my key is now stuck and i cant
get it out. i have an engine switch but i
believe it was off last night
