Flashing light on centre control panel when headlights on

Question type: General

I just bought a 2009 Dodge Caliber, and
when I turn my head lights on there is a
button on my centre panel by the gear shift
that flashes 3 little lights. It goes off when I
turn my high beams off. Just wondering if
this is just a feature to indicate my lights are
on, or what .. clicking the button changes
nothing , and it does not flash my running
lights are on or my high beams.

I got a 2009 caliber also that has an issue with the battery light but your situation sounds like you got the switch turned on for the fog lights cuz they'll go off when you turn the brights on

The only way it seems to go off is when my high beams are on. Perhaps I’m just missing something, I’ll have to a better look
