Possible Causes for AC problem in 2008 Chrysler Aspen

Asked by jcenters Oct 27, 2015 at 12:35 AM about the 2008 Chrysler Aspen Limited RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The AC in a 2008 Chrysler Aspen has stopped working. The fan cannot be
heard at any fan speed setting. At idle or low speed city driving the AC cannot
be felt. At faster highway speeds the AC can be felt regardless of the fan
speed setting. My current plan is just to replace the compressor. Past
experience with AC problems with any car I've owned were always solved by
replacing that part. However, I thought I might give it a shot & ask before doing
so.

We changed the blower motor and put new coolants in and the passenger side cools but the drivers side blows hot air. What's wrong

low on refrigerant that is the first thing you will notice when getting low is one side stays cool and the other side blows warm. check pressure with gauges then evacuate and recharge sytem . the amount of 134a is located on sticker under the hood it with tell you how many pounds system holds. if you dont see a leak anywhere i would recommend putting dye in with the refrigerant in a couple days you can shine a black light around the ac sytem and look for stains to dertermine where leak is coming from.
