I have a 08 Chrysler Town and Country with a 4.0. For about 6 months it has occasionally seemed to cut out or buck going down the road.Especially at slow speeds. Or it would stall randomly while going down the road. The check engine would come on sometimes but usually go off. But in the past two weeks the check engine light has come on and now the van stalls on me going down the road. It acts like it's not getting gas all of the time now. And is running really rough. Could this be just a sensor?

I'd have the fuel pressure tested. It reads like you have bad or low fuel pressure. Could be a fuel pump dying on you.

When it stalls can you get it started up again? Does it do it at stop digs/lights I only while driving?

Yes, I just put it in neutral and it starts right back up again. It only stalls while driving or when I take my foot off of the gas to go around the corner. But it bucks and seems to cut out a lot while I am accelerating at low speeds

No not today. But it's definitely hesitating. Would it be a fuel problem back 6 months ago when it would just all of the sudden shut down on me, then I could start it right back up and it wouldn't do it again for like a month. It never has a problem starting.

You need to get the trouble codes read. If the check engine light is on, that will give you a good clue what is going on. If it stalls when you take your foot off the gas, that could be a bad idle air control valve. If the motor shuts off like someone threw an off switch while you're driving, that's something else. Could be timing related or knock/crank sensor related. Unfortunately the symptoms you've described don't point to any obvious solution, we'd need more info, so if you can, take it to a parts store and have them read the codes, it's a free service.

I have a Chrysler 2008 Town & Country. I will be taking it to the Chrysler dealer on Sunday at 9 a.m., to check an ro3 code which is supposed to be the recall code for the car stalling problem. However if that is not the case the diagnostic cost for me will be $150. And no answer to the problem. I will be there on June 9th, 2017. However I'm wondering if the Federal Trade Commission is aware of these problems and have began to investigate this situation. As something has to be done with this particular problem and it should not be an out-of-pocket expense for the owners of the vehicle.
