2008 Chrysler T&C Electrical problem

Asked by Andrea Oct 02, 2018 at 09:55 PM about the 2008 Chrysler Town & Country Touring FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2008 Chrysler T&C is having an electrical issue. The horn is randomly
honking, wipers going, A/C blowers going, even when turned off, no key in the
ignition. Any ideas what to look for or what could be causing it?

Had similar problems with our 2001 300M after a week in the shop for diagnosing it end up being the body computer or Ford calls them the CCRM constant control relay module. You can have them rebuilt but they have to go to a dealer for a software flash when done.

We had that same problem with our van. We replaced the TIPM and that fixed it. Granted we still have other issues with the van but glad we could get the horn to stop randomly beeping.
