E85 fill up car won't start now

Asked by choston01 Jan 14, 2017 at 07:09 AM about the 2008 Chrysler Town & Country LX FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I filled my tank with e85 gas twice.  Car was
running fine, then all of a sudden,  car turns
over but flutters won't  stsrt. I have to push
gas really hard several times and eventually
it starts and runs. Car is 3/4 full of e85 gas
and now i put in 89 gas as well to see if
maybe that is the issue...could it be a tune
up

if your car is not rated for E85 (Flex Fuel) then you probably destroyed the fuel system. Alcohol eats up fuel system components.
