Swap 2nd Row Captain Chairs For 60/40 Bench

I've got an ESV and looking to swap my captain chairs for 60/40 bench. All I can find locally are short base bench seats from Yukon or Tahoe. Is  it possible to swap the short base bench into a long base suv?

Has anyone actually tried it to confirm what the issue is? Online everyone says they won't interchange but no one says exactly why nor have they personally tried it.

I would love to trade someone my captain chairs (power, heated, cooled, perforated) for their bench with similar functions. I'm located near South Padre Island, TX incase anyone is close by or within a few hundred miles. Mine are not the newest looking but they are fully functional and are always in use, hence why I need the bench.

You cannot. The mounting plates for the short wheel base are completely different. This is because the small step up to the 3rd row seats on the short wheel base. So the mounting plates on the short wheel base GM suv’s have a step up built into them. Tried it.

Hi, I have a 2011 Cadillac ESV Luxury, cashmere interior, and a 60/40 2nd row bench seat. Would anybody be willing to trade their captain seats for my bench? I'm in Maryland.
