Repair or replacement for console pocket box cover on a 2008 Subaru Outback

Question type: General

The cover on the small pocket box in the dash in front of the shift will not latch closed. I would like to repair or replace it, but have no idea how to go about removing it. Has anyone ever taken one out? Any ideas would be most welcome.

I could not find a YouTube video that covered exactly what I wanted, but there were a few that were helpful in understanding how to disassemble the cover. Long story short, it was easy to disassemble and the problem was a pin that jumped out of a track. The best part was there was no cost to fix it. Thanks for the suggestion BohoMark.
