I TURNED MY HEADLIGHT SWITCH FROM AUTO TO THE LEFT TURNING OFF MY DAYLIGHT RUNNING LIGHTS - DRL. WHEN I WAS PARKED   I'VE READ THE BOOKLET, BUT I CANNOT GET THE DRL TO GO BACK ON WHEN I START THE ENGINE AND PUT IT IN GEAR.    I TRIED GOING BACK TO THE LEFT AND BACK TO AUTO AND FROM LIGHTS ON AND BACK TO AUTO AGAIN, BUT THE DRL ARE STILL NOT ON.

No it is not set. I tried moving the know from auto to the left with the engine on, in park, in gear, in the day, the night. When I start the engine the DRLs are on. then when I put it in gear the DRLs go out.
