How to remove the gauge bezels ?

Asked by Jetfan8893 May 10, 2013 at 07:32 AM about the 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GS

Question type: General

That darn tpms light (!) on the dash that can only be reset by a mitsu- dealer is a
nuisance.  I would rather put a small circular piece of black tape over it than to bow down
to the almighty dealership for a costly reset.  How do I get the bezel off of the gauge?

Is one of the sensors bad? If the tire pressure is low you should be able to set it and drive and it shut itsself off. Most vehicles ive seen are that way. Maybe this one isnt though.

Ok, I ended up taking it to the dealer. Replaced the drivers side front sensor ($78.) & reset all the sensors ($120.). Best part of the day? It was all covered under the 5 year warranty ! Score!
