owned 45 days - 1st payment a week ago - 3 days later only moves in reverse and low (automatic) ideas? repair cost - single mom w/daughter 2nd time cancer recipient. No $$ left

Sorry to here about that. Cars always break when you don't want them too. With no money it will be hard to get around. Your best bet is to find a shop that can find a used transmission to install or rebuild it. It's still going to be $1000-2000. See if family will help or try opening a gofundme site. There are always people out there willing to help.
