Car stalls out while driving-reduced engine power message comes on?

Asked by my4girls Dec 14, 2015 at 11:48 AM about the 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix Base

Whiledriving, reduced engine power message comes on dash and littleengine icon also comes on.mThen some message about throttle also occurs. car will start up again after resting for aminute or so. Not sure what is causing this. already had throttle box replaced.

Your car is in limp mode which means you have a serious problem. Get the engine fault codes read so you know what is going on and post them here so we can try to help.
