Question type: Car Customization

Because of the Stupid canbus system I apparently can't tune the 08 .. Can I swap the
PCM from an older model and be able to tune it?

As long as the part and I'd numbers are the same. Probably will have to have it reprogrammed with a Tech II scan tool when you're done swapping.

Check with ZZ Performance. They will know what is do-able and what is not. As well they have a great selection of aftermarket and performance parts for this car. They may well have a reprogrammed PCM available for your car. You simply buy the new one, put it in and send back the old one. Did that with my Cobalt. Worked perfectly.
