Just changed car battery and now the VDC light remains on

Asked by claytonjd Oct 17, 2016 at 08:18 AM about the 2008 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Woke up one morning to find my battery dead. Picked up a new battery and
installed myself. Took old out and then installed new one. I did not have power
to the system while the battery was out. After installing the new battery, the
VDC light remains on while driving. Is there a re-programming procedure to
follow for the VDC, just like there was for the driver power window?
