What does slight shaking followed by the check engine light mean?

About fifteen minutes down the road my car started shaking a bit at a stop light, then the check engine light came on. The shaking is not bad and there is not any noise but my light hasn't gone off yet. Any idea?

sounds like a fouled spark plug or injector ... Plug an OBD into the cars plug and it will tell you
