Stabilitrac light comes on and my cruise control will not stay on. are these two things commencted

My stabilitrac light keeps coming on.  Bacause of that my cruise control does not work

the cruise is ok, the stabletrac needs corrected,no doubt a wheel sensor is not working or mud is blocking the pickup coil on the wheel rotor.
