Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Replaced alternator drove about 10 miles service
charging system light came on drove 10 miles
back home took in alternator shows charging fine
drove the next day 22 miles died pulling in parking
lot jump started for 3 mins fired right up drove
back home then today drove 2 miles no warning
lights on nothing on the way home died jump start
again drove home charged battery completely
started car let run 3 mins service charging system
came on 2 min later battery saver comes on have
no clue lost

Check the connections from the battery, the ground cable connection to the alternator and the positive cable to the starter. It sound like you have a loose connection. If that's not it then you might have a bad cylinoid.

no loose connection tighten everything down still have same issues how can i check cylinoid
