Why doesn't the Jeep Liberty come with at least a 4.0 L V-6 engine--at least like the Nisson?

That's a question for the lawmakers who have put CAFE (corporate average fuel economy) standards in place, as well as for the manufacturers.

I have a 2008 liberty sport 4wd. It now has 7960 miles on it. I've driven about 900 miles off road, some times at an altitude of 10,000 feet and up to 12,200 ft. I've no problems with power. Chickenhood
