The M3 V8 naturally asperated engine in E9X models is said to be the best engine man has ever created. Google it! If you spend a little more and tune it (supercharger, body kit, exhaust system, racing suspension etc. you would be able to tough it out with the big boys...porsches, ferraris...for a lot less money!!
