Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i have 2007 dodge ram 1500 4.7 flex fuel 4x4. it wont start. turn key, it will
click. if i keep doing this it does eventually start, in park or neutral. put new
starter & ignition switch in steering column, still same problem. battery is only
about a year old. so any other ideas as to what may be the issue?

Even though the battery is only a year old, I would have it checked to insure it has the capacity to start your truck. It may be right on the borderline charge level between "start" ad "click".

Possible issues...battery going bad, starter going bad, key needs to be reprogrammed.
