Command start
Does anyone know if a modification can be made to the factory command start to increase the range? Or do you have to go to an after market such as Viper to improve the range?

You are pretty much limited to the range on the factory start. You would need to go with an aftermarket starter, but I don't recommend that unless you have a dealer install it, as the electronic and security system on these newer cars is easily messed up if you start cutting into the wrong wires, etc.
