Truck has no power at start, temporarily resets with battery

Asked by Duke4358 Sep 23, 2018 at 05:04 PM about the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 1LT Crew Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2007 Chevy Silverado, at first start every day and after
work, truck will reverse fine but when put in drive I have to
floor it to make it move. It only does about 3k rpm and
jerks. If I disconnect a battery cable for a moment it fixes
it for a while. After two or three times of resetting, it runs
fine until the next lengthy park.
