Dodge magnum electrical

Asked by Jun 07, 2017 at 09:50 PM about the 2006 Dodge Magnum SXT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I jumped my car and it worked for awhile then the
electrical started to flicker then stopped working.  I
ended up bringing my battery to get charged.
When I plugged it back  in my horn started blaring.
Wipers front and back went of plus my fan on the
front of my car to keep the engine cool.  The
electrical inside still didn't come on

When you lost main power you most likely corrupted the factory presets for the computer systems, there is a tool that is used to keep the system active while the battery is replaced or removed for other repairs, most techs have at least the small one in thier tool box these days, so it looks like you headed to the dealer to get the system reflashed, in my area it runs a hundred bucks.
