Acceleration problems after warm up

Asked by Dannielle May 22, 2018 at 06:59 PM about the 2004 Mazda RX-8 RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car was running just fine and a couple of
days ago I came outside and started it up
and it was a little hesitant. I started driving it
and it had no acceleration with the gas pedal
all the way down. Could anybody let me
know what that might be? I've never
experienced this problem before. And I am
mechanically inclined so I will understand
what a rotary engine is made up of.
I would appreciate any help at this point it
has 197,476 miles on it.
