Car not starting stay on 3 seconds cuts off

factory theft system.. the key has to be burned to the pcm. on a ford not sure about a dodge but turn the keys forward to on position and wait for theft light to go out about 15 mins. turn key off and cycle forward to on position again without starting wait til theft light goes out around 15 mins again then turn keys off again and start. that is how a ford key is manualy married to the pcm. im sure dodge is simular but dont really know. hope this helps

Thanks I went and took it to electrical shop today and gave them my ignition mod that came off the first time and also went by the dealer which they told me 215 for a ignition switch and housing 375 to put it in then another 275 for a key the shop said they going to call me in the morning I also gave them the old key too but I will try it If they can't fix it...Thanks Bro

Also I tried the turn on switch for 10 mins but the anti theft light never went off this morning it just stayed on sometimes when I start the car it won't show for a few seconds but then pops up so I just took it to the electrical shop after that

yeah lost my keys and they wanted something stupid, ended up calling a lock smith and he cut a steel key for $80.00 and found a guy on craigslist who would sell and cut you a key for $20.00 and manually burned the key costing me about 2 hrs time and $100.00 total lol got lucky,,, well I hope they don't hit you to hard and take care...

also I put a stop watch on mine to see how long til it the teft light went off and it was almost 15mins each time I cycled the key... hope this helps
