how to change a key?

i lost my key on pontiac montana 2003. can i replace the key ignition switch so
i could use other key to start my van?

I previously owned a 2003 Montana, and had to replace a key I lost. I hope you have another key, because part of the anti-theft system means that the key has a computer chip in it. You need to take your spare key in so that the computer chip can be programmed so that your van will start. Expect to pay about $20 or so for the new key.
