My cars check engine light came on and also the
DVD and break light. The steering got hard also. I
continued driving. Then while on the freeway the
car just stopped accelerating in drive and also in
reverse. I got it off the freeway and shut it off and it
would not start. I then jumped it and it started back
up but the same problem occurred. Ot would not
accelerate in drive or in reverse. It would rev as
normal in park and in neutral but would not drive or
accelerate in gear. The  car keeps dying on me.
Could this be a alternator problem causing my g35
to not accelerate in gear?

My car did that too. Took it to the mechanic and he said it was my tires... i dont think he was a very good mechanic
