Position throttle sensor question

Asked by GuruYXLNK Mar 03, 2018 at 07:54 PM about the 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just had my throttle sensor replaced.The car is
still not working properly.The mechanic told me the
car needs time to catch up with the part(I guess he
means sync up or detect the part) Is this true? Had
anyone had this issue before?

The computer in your car should recognize the new sensor within 5 minutes or less. Unless there's a different issue.

I havr a 2002 and I replaced the tps last summer and now can't get it inspected, engine codes come up for it, I'm think the pqrt is aftemarket
