My 2006 X5 sunshade/visor won't close.

When I press sunroof button, all I hear is the sunshade attempting to close and then it stops. The good news is glass is still closed all the way.Please help!!

If the sunshade doesn't close all the way what you could do is a intalize procedure. Now I warn you about this if you decide to do this procedure and something is mechanically binding in the sunroof further damage could be caused so make sure the glass moves freely first. If it does then turn your car on and hold the sunroof button down in the vent position and wait for the sunroof shade to do a full open and close also the glass will fully open and close. Again I warn you do this at your own risk during the procedure will deactivate the anti trap function of the roof so keep clear while its moving. Hope this helps.

No my 2016 X5 BMW is totally dead there no sound of any kind, my moonroof is close,, but my sun shade is stuck open.. please help me is there a fuse box I'm hoping it's that.. I tried everything you could possibly do,
