car over heating

I have a lincoln ls v8 2002 i change the theromstac and heater pipe and still overheating
dont know what else to look at

make sure coolant level is full and the system is bled of any air. make sure the cooling fans come on. if not, check fuses/relays. if they still don't come on check coolant temp sensor. check for leaks in the water pump area and leaks in general.
