Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just brought a 2004 Lincoln LS V6
motor, the water looks pink, thick and
milky.the car is running hot..where should I
start on coming up with a situation?

Sounds like transmission fluid is mixing with the coolant. I hope you got a warranty. The trans cooler is part of the radiator and sometimes fails allowing the fluids to mix. You will need to replace the radiator, I'd do hoses as well, flush the coolant system, and flush the transmission fluid and or check the condition of the engine as well.
