Check light. NOT check engine

I have a 2008 mitsubishi lancer manual transmission.
Recently a CHECK indicator has been popping out on my
dash when i shift away from 1st and 2nd gear. Its not the
check engine light. When the CHECK indicator comes on so
does the BRAKE light illuminate but my hand vrake is fully
depressed. Can it be a fault in the E- Brake system. Please
anything is helpful, thank you

Check the brake fluid level in the car to make sure you have enough !
