Do you still have this car??? If so, you might want to check and see if the frame is damaged. If it is, my advice would be to sell the car. Once the frame is bent, the ride, handling and performance of the car will never be the same.

Yes I do and am still making payments on it, I was curious about the frame because its pushed in on drivers side wheel

Did you fix this car and is it now in drivable condition? If so, follow it on the road and see how it tracks from your vantage point in the rear as it drives away from you. If you see it sort of moving down the road like a crab walking, you've got a serious problem. Cars like this can never be fixed, the alignment, handling and geometry is way off. Just let it go as soon as possible. Don't know how much money you owe, but, I wonder if it was fixed why the insurance company didn't make it right?

my insurance lapsed two weeks before the accident, money was there but bank didnt make payment for some reason, so im stuck with it, just looking for advice

Not fixed yet, almost have it paid for and getting ready to have someone take a look, thank you everyone for your answers the links helped me understand better what I have
