transmission

Asked by Sep 19, 2017 at 09:49 PM about the 2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer LS 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

last week while yeilding onto main highway my blazer
jerked and made sort of loud bang... drove it home with
no issues.. the next time drove it 3 days later... it started to
vibrate during acceleration and hesitate to shift 1-2,2-3,3-
4... once over 50 mph.. vibration subsides... drove back
home again... mile from house or so it made a grind noise
from 2-3 gear... is this trans gone? or possibly bad
solinoids?
note... rpms are not fluctuating ... just running slightly
higher than normal before shifting.
