passenger side windows and convertible top no longer work

my 2006 VW beetle convertible passenger windows and convertible top no
longer work. the master switch will roll down the driver front and rear
windows. I can hear the motor of the passenger rear window going but the
window does not move. No sound from the motor of the top either when I try
to pull it back. One day i unlatched the convertible top to try to pull it back
and the driver side windows and the front passenger side window dropped.
the top wouldn't go back and the passenger side window wouldn't roll back
up after the top wouldn't work. also, if i have the top unlatched and press the
button to bring the top back, the indicator light will blink for a little bit and
then stop...but the convertible symbol will still be displayed. any suggestions
on how to fix this? I have already tried the reset with the master switch. I
have replaced the button for the top. i don't know what else to do.

It called regulator. It sucks. You can buy motors all day cheap at auto parts. But the regulator is dealer item. It sucks that VW new beetle is known fir this. It is expensive to fix. It should be a recall item on the windows. Happened to me 2 times

By rear windows work my front windows do not is that mean regulator too?
