Why wont my truck crank

Asked by Nikkitired May 18, 2017 at 02:10 AM about the 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe LS RWD

Everything in my truck went out all the light even
the dashboard lights my brother touched the post
on my battery an everything came on it even
cranked up but as soon as he removed his hand off
the post 2 mins later everything turned off

probably a poor connection. take some sand paper and clean the posts and the inside of the clips. often the acid escapes the batteries and causes all sorts of bad stuff to go on, or go off as it were.
