2003 Chevrolet Tahoe LT pedals

Asked by Feb 17, 2017 at 08:39 PM about the 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe LT RWD

Question type: General

So I was kind of showing off my 2003
Chevrolet Tahoe LT to my friend... he didn't
like that at all and pushed down on the
pedal all the way to left while the truck was
off and I have never even messed around
with that pedal, don't even know what it's
for... what should I do, should I be
concerned?

I believe it's the emergency brake. Pull the release and it'll pop back up. You can't drive with the emergency brake on. The release is on the lower dash above the pedal. It says "brake release". Pull it. HTH. -Jim
