Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I test drove my car, the breaks were super sensitive. Salesman said it was from sitting on the lot.
Ive had 3 weeks now and its still touchy at times. It also lurches forward at times. Hoping I can fix this
before winter hits. Is this NORMAL for my car?? Can I FIX it??

Found out my pads were almost gone.. shame on Evans Toyota in Fort Wayne! I had them replaced and things are much better. But, Im still having trouble with my jerking forward when I gas it, especially in the mornings. Anyone know what that might be?
