How do i troubleshoot 2006 honda accord tail lights

I set up an aftermarket stereo.No amps no subs just the head unit. Im seeming to have a problem with my rear riding lights. brake lights blinkers and head lights all work. but when the car is on and lights are on i have nothing in the rear untill i hit the brakes. i had one fuse pop and replaced it im back to the original stock stereo and still no rear riding lights? any suggestions???? i really need some help.

Think u got some place messed up. Try to take your car battery away for a while and put back, if doesn't help try to put every wiring and every thing u did, back the way it was... If works make new wiring for the stereo's ... Other question is also that how did u install the stereo .. did u use somekind of adapter cable, or did u just do it your own. Sometimes these are quite precise about wiring, and about where u take the power to the stereos... I mean, if u took for example "plus" from wrong place voltage drops in wrong place, it can do these tricks. For example somekind of relay doesn't work in lower voltage... Just try to get it back running, Hard to say cause can't see the car and wiring...
